The Grind & Hustle is Easy Until It’s Interrupted
Family is always and will always be first for me. Hard work, grinding, hustling and all that sounds good and inspiring until you’re knocked off routine or rhythm by responsibility.
Family has always been, and will always be first with me.
When I was deciding what I wanted to pursue as an entrepreneur, my mentor told me to choose based on the lifestyle I wanted to have.
I’m a family guy. Love being around family.
When my wife and kids are at work and school, I’m working. When they’re sleep I’m working. I try to schedule around them as much as possible. Doesn’t always work out that way, but most times it does.
I’m always up late or up early or both. But that doesn’t mean one, or more, of my three curly headed kids won’t wake up at crazy times of the night.
I just got back from business in Chicago, and trying to catch up on some tasks. It’s about 11 something at night. My eyes are low and tomato red. My daughter wakes up 3 times.
Many entrepreneurs are willing to pull an all nighter, but when you’re “flow” is interrupted, it can make things a lot tougher.
It took me 3 hours to get 1 hour of work complete. But it’s all part of the grind baby.
But that ain’t no excuse. Rub them eyes and GET BACK WORK!!
